Maison Margiela Tabi Layout 2025/2026
I created this layout on Affinity Designer for The Rage Magazine at Chapman University, which focuses on showcasing an article written by Stella Shamulka about the Maison Margiela Tabi shoe trend. I individually cut out the background of each shoe image and arranged them similarly to shoes on a shoe rack. The writer, Stella Shamulka, requested the design to be simplistic, so I chose neutral colors for the background, text, and shoes.
Dolly Parton’s Fashion: Love in Every Stitch Layout 2025
To complement Evelyn Agnew’s article Dolly Parton’s Fashion: Love in Every Stitch, and the photography by Ariana Covarrubias, I chose an overall rustic and warm feeling to this layout for Chapman University’s The Rage Magazine. Capitalizing on Dolly Parton’s Appalachian upbringing, I incorporated rustic lace and the color yellow throughout the layout. To emphasize Dolly Parton’s significance in the music industry, many images were created to look like an older album in its plastic packaging and her signature was added throughout.
Parisian Culture Layout Cover Image 2025/2026
As part of The Rage Magazine’s Graphic Design team at Chapman University, I was assigned a layout on Parisian culture, which consists of images taken by Isabelle Morr. The cover page I created on Affinity Designer focuses on the well-known romantic quality of Parisian culture.
Bodega Norton Special Edition Wine Box 2025
As part of my Graphic Design course at Chapman University, we were instructed to create a special edition wine box for Bodega Norton. My design is inspired by the Argentinian flag and the Ombu tree of Argentina. The font and quotes placed on the box design are taken from the Bodega Norton website, to stay true to the company’s brand.
Chapman University’s College of the Performing Arts The Little Prince Theatre Poster 2025
For my Graphic Design course at Chapman University, I designed a theatre poster for the university’s production of The Little Prince. I was inspired by the film The Little Prince for the poster, which emphasizes the importance of imagination. Due to this, I decided to illustrate the poster with loose, playful lines and bright colors to replicate the feeling of a children’s book.
The Coast of Pacific Grove 2025
When I am not designing, I enjoy painting. I grew up by the coast for a large portion of my life, so I decided to paint a view from my local beach in my free time to express my love of nature. The painting is done in water-based oils on canvas.
“Styled and Stolen: The Internet’s Fashion Dilemma” Exhibit Design 2025
I designed and illustrated a gallery exhibit about cultural appropriation for a project in my Graphic Design courses at Chapman University. The exhibit “Styled and Stolen: The Internet’s Fashion Dilemma” focuses on educating the viewers on cultural appropriation in fashion. This interactive installation speaks on the case study of Victoria’s Secret’s culturally insensitive “Sexy Little Geisha” lingerie. When the visitor steps into the light underneath the fan-light, they will learn more about the lingerie piece on the screen.
